I was pleasantly surprised today to discover that my blog entry entitled “My best 12 pictures in 2009″ was promoted to the homepage of WordPress.com. Thanks to its editor for chosing my blog.
The traffic has skyrocketted to 3163 hits on the first day – the highest so far as opposed to between 50 and 100 that I have obtained daily. Not to mention hundreds of comments I received especially for that particular entry for which I thank you, dear readers, very much.
I would try my best to reply to all and to reciprocate the visit although I can’t promise when I could finish them all.
It is a small yet very sweet achievement in my blogging since I started on 11 August 2007 at WordPress.com
Anyway, this small achievement seems to augur well for the new year 2010
