My answer to this week’s photo challenge: Contrast
I love the contrast between this calla lily flower against its dark green leaves. I found it outside the hotel room where my family stayed in Cameron Highlands.
The contrasty and flattering lighting is highlyimportant to landscape photography to bring about the contrast and to accentuate the three-dimensionality and texture. This kind of lighting can only be seen either in the early morning or late evening on a clear day.
I juxtaposed this Mughal architectural structure of 1910 in the foreground while at the background are the modern skyscrapers that form the skyline of Kuala Lumpur.
Happy shooting 🙂
